Hazel started working in professional theatre in 2001 at Clwyd Theatr Cymru in the lighting department. She then spent several months working in the Art department at Mersey Television working on “Hollyoaks“, “Grange Hill” and Brookside” which prompted her to return to education and she is in her final year of a BA (hons) Video Production and Drama Production degree at BCUC. Hazel spent 6weeks in Edinburgh last summer as Deputy Technical manager for C Venues at the Fringe Festival and continues to work as a freelance technician at the Wycombe Swan theatre, she is also resident technician for Wellesborne Drama studio and Technical Director and Lighting Designer for BCUC’s upcoming production of Caryl Churchill’s “The Skriker” in March.
